Get On for New Riders

If you have always wondered what it might be like to ride a bike, but have never even sat on a one, then this is the course for you! It gives you all the benefits of a bike experience without having to commit to a course or spend any money for kit!

It begins with a short introduction to the bike and a talk about the correct equipment and wear for safe riding. You will be then, shown how to move off and stop the machine in a safe and controlled manner. Depending on your level of confidence and ability you will be allowed to ride the bike, and will be given instruction on how to carry out slow speed control and changing gear. You will then return the bikes to the parking bays and have a short debrief with the instructors about your experience.

Get On Getting Back on 2 Wheels

If you were once a rider but have been out of the saddle for some time, a return to biking experience would be ideal for you.
The course basis is the same as new rider experience but as you will have had some previous experience of riding, the instructors will also include a short discussion to understand and alleviate any past worries that you may have, and give you advice and tips of how to overcome them.
To conclude each of the rider experiences, the instructors will advise you on a specific course of training which will be tailored to your individual needs.
