Advanced Riding Techniques Ltd was opened in 1996 to support P&H Motorcycles with the delivery of quality motorbike courses & motorcycle training, and is owned, staffed and managed by motorcycle enthusiasts.
As the largest approved motorcycle training centre in the South East we have rapidly gained a reputation for excellence in motorcycle training courses. All of our motorcycle lessons are tailored to your individual needs.
Our training centre is a purpose built, self contained facility with a comfortable indoor classroom equipped with, drying room, changing facilities, computers for hazard perception & theory test training, and a 12,000 sq ft tarmac surfaced off road area for practical on-site training sessions which is open seven days a week. Which for your safety, means starting every single day in a secure off road area (not just weekends, unlike other schools that refuse to pay more overheads to keep you safe!)
All of our on road motorcycle lessons operate on a guaranteed 2:1 basis for all on road tuition.
Included in the price of all our training is, the use of new helmets, armoured motorcycle jackets, armoured motorcycle trousers, gloves, waterproofs and motorcycle boots for you to use for free of charge, Not just the "basics" See here for details.

Areas within 25 miles or 45 minutes travelling time to our training school
Motorcycle training in Sussex, motorcycle training in Surrey, Crawley, Gatwick, Brighton, Hove, Portslade, Pulborough, Worthing, Horsham, Reigate, Leatherhead, Oxted, Redhill, Billinghurst, Littlehampton, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Edenbridge, Lindfield, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Croydon, Sutton, Banstead, Tadworth and South London . All courses can be run every day through the year subject to the weather. (snow, ice, very high winds, flooding or poor visibility may result in your course being postponed) all practical motorcycle tests normally have to be on a working weekday.
We offer motorcycle training and testing to anyone willing to travel to our motorcycle training school which is situated between Crawley & East Grinstead on the A264, nearest Motorway is the M23 junction 10, Nearest Train station Three Bridges, Nearest bus stop Metrobus route 291.
